A new pavilion and band shell stage situated at the existing Piedmont Park Promenade, a 41,000 sf oval lawn in the iconic Atlanta park. The 2300 sf stage is sized to accommodate a full symphony orchestra performance, with the 2900 sf roof optimized for expanded sun protection during the summer months. The steel and timber structural system of the roof, with undulating surrounding screen walls at the base, together create an elevated focal point for the lawn, accommodating both formal events and impromptu gatherings year-round.
